From home studio artist to live performer, weird poet to soundtrack composer, apocalyptic rapper to born again mindfulness author—JVB’s tracks have a unique style influenced by the various genres and media he has had experience with. Now he creates music tracks and audio soundscapes for film/TV, commercials, Youtube/Tik Tok/Twitch videos, podcasts, audiobooks, rappers, singers, musicians, work outs, meditations, and more!

With his multimedia mixed-genre approach, JVB has been part of numerous creative projects over the past 20 years, including:

• Writing/co-writing, producing, and performing more than 300 tracks on 30+ releases from Sykophunk Productions
• Opening up for national touring acts across the country (Rehab, 2 Live Crew, Anybody Killa, Apathy, Liquid Assassin, etc.)
• Having one of his tracks played on The Colbert Report through a remix contest via indaba.com
• Composing and producing parts of the score for the animated film The Hairy Claw of Grafton Moore
• Collaborating with underground/independent artists all around the globe
• Self-publishing nine books of poetry and fiction; composing and releasing soundtracks for many of his books
